Everyone in Western New York and
Southern Ontario has fond memories of the world famous "Comet" of Crystal Beach. Well, Martin's Fantasy Island has brought those memories back home to
Western New York by Building a new
coaster called "THE SILVER COMET". Although not identical to the original
Comet, the new ride has the look, feel
and ride of the beloved coaster from
Crystal Beach. This nostalgic ride features a 95 foot drop, about 3,000 feet of track,
steel construction and a wooden track...
very similar to the specifications the
original Comet was built from!
The ride also features a station that
closely resembles that of the original Comet.
